Warm ups and Qigong exercises prepare us to learn the Yang style 24 form, well known for its flowing, graceful movements. There is no floor work. All exercises are done standing or sitting if more comfortable. Wear loose, comfortable layers of clothing and flat, soft soled shoes. Bring a drink of water. Classes are held outdoors in fine weather.
Note: Martial references may be used in order to clarify and deepen understanding of certain postures but self defence is not taught.
Classes are held in Lyme Regis on Thursday evenings and Friday mornings.
A class for new beginners starts Fri 5th Jan 10am at the Masonic Hall, Broad Street, Lyme Regis
Weekend workshops are held for more experienced students.
